Dungeon and Dragons have had a very strange relationship with guns. Despite having many campaigns setting in the sci fantasy genre, guns and blasters have remain for the most part as homebrew (fan made) content up until the release of the Gunslinger. Based off gunslingers of the western genre, the Gunslinger class specialise in being quick on their feet and landing consistent critical hits. Gunslingers also have resource known as “risk dice” that they can use for class feature to make them more unpredictable in combat. The book also come with guns so that the gunslinger has weapons to use, the book makes suggestion on which guns to use depending on the technologic advancement of the world but that also one of the main problems with gunslinger and guns in this game. Most campaign take place in a fantasy or sci fantasy world meaning and adventures are usually armed with a sword or a bow and guns by their very nature the more advance they are the more useless medieval weaponry is, this shouldn’t be a be a problem in world filled with superhuman foes and spellcasting but you should definitely check with your DM before picking this class.

- High Roller: Using the power of gambling to potentially boost your damage, when you are about to roll for damage declare it a hidden roll and after you roll the total damage you can declare a number and the DM can call your bluff, depending on whether or not you were lying or if you DM called your bluff or not, the damage can be what you said it was, Doubled, or halved.
