What is a Rogue.
Rogues are master thieves and assassins, Darkness is their ally, and stealth is their expertise. Rogues pride themselves in being the Stealthiest class in the game. Outside of combat you are the one doing all the breaking and entering, inside of combat you are hiding behind your allies and in your foes blind spot, trying to pull off your “Sneak Attack.” Most rogues do not like direct, one on one conflict because they are squishy so keep that in mind when playing them.
The Following are Rogue subclasses
- Arachnoid Stalker: You were the bitten by a radioactive/magical spider and now can-do everything Spider-Man can do and then some. (Valda’s Spire of Secrets: Player Pack.)
- Arcane Trickster: You can use your limited magical ability to aid your ability to commit crime. (Player Handbook 2024)
- Assassin: You are the master of getting the jump on people and taken them out with no issue. (Player Handbook 2024)
- Grim Surgeon: With use of blood magic, you can enhance your body and heal your allies. (The Griffon’s saddlebag: Book two)
- Highway Rider: With a gun in your hand and a stead that you can magically summon by your side, you ride around the battlefield and back roads and chase down your foes. (Grim Hallow: player’s guide)
- Inquisitive: Using your powers of deduction, you can figure out you foes week point by just look at them, enhancing your sneak attack in the process. (Xanathar’s Guide to Everything)
- Mastermind: You are an expert at crafting schemes as well aiding allies’ attacks in combat. (Sword Coast Adventure Guide)
- Misfortune Bringer: you have the power to steal your foes good luck and replaces it with bad look. (Grim Hallow: player’s guide)
- Phantom: Using necrotic magic, your sneak can now target multiple targets within 30 ft of each other. (Tasha’s Cauldron of everything)
- Sanguine Thief: Combine blood magic with regular magic to make you even more dangerous. (Grim Hallow: player’s guide)
- Scion of the Three: You are either a part of a cult for three evil gods, or you have stolen or been curse with their power, either way this power allows you to keep up the offensive. (Forgotten realms: heroes of Faerûn)
- Scout: You are hard pin down in fights which make you a nightmare to deal with.
- Soulknife: Improve your abilities with psionic powers and weapons. (Players Handbook 2024)
- Swashbuckler: You’re a pirate and you fight like how they do in the movies. (Sword Coast Adventure’s Guide)
- Thief: This is essential Rogue plus; this subclass enhances all the core features of the rogue. (Player Handbook 2024)
